I am happy to report that Cliftonville Bowling Club had a sunny and very successful, if cold and blowy, Opening Day today

It was good to see so many members and old friends for the 2008 opening.  We held our usual Opening Day tournament capably run by Paul Donnelly with Ken Bell and Aileesh McGirr the winners.

My thanks also go to Marie McKenna for a lovely buffet meal after the competition.

I would like to take this opportunity to extend an invitation to all local residents to the club to call in to see our facilities and talk to any member of the club about house membership.  We would be delighted to hear from you.

Finally I'd like to wish all bowlers best wishes for the coming season.
